  4.      This is a collection of utility programs for LOADSTAR 128 that will be
  5. published on every issue.  By zipping through these menus you can:
  6.  
  7.  (1) Print out a subscription form
  8.  
  9.  (2) Print out a back issue order form
  10.  
  11.  (3) Print out a submission form for sending us a program for consideration
  12.  
  13.  (4) Critique this issue or just write us a note
  14.  
  15.      Just select which of these functions you want to perform by moving the
  16. highlight bar with the CRSR UP and CRSR DOWN key.  Press RETURN to select. 
  17. Since the menu items are numbered, you can just press the number if you
  18. want.  All of the modules return to the main menu of LOADSTAR BRIEFS when
  19. they are done.

  25.     The subscription form gives you all the information you need to become a
  26. regular subscriber to LOADSTAR 128.  You may use your favorite plastic in
  27. lieu of a check.  Please tell us if you are a new subscriber or are renewing
  28. a current subscription.

  30.     If you are subscribing from a country outside the United States, the
  31. payment must be in US funds.  Checks or money orders must be drawn on a US
  32. bank.
  33.  
  34.     The submission form is for sending us your latest program gem.  It is
  35. important that you fill out every blank and sign down at the bottom,
  36. certifying that the program is your own original work.  Your phone number(s)
  37. and the start-up filename are very important.  While you're at it, send as
  38. much documentation about the program as you can.  However, don't print out
  39. BASIC or ML listings.

  41.     The back issue form will let you easily purchase any LOADSTAR 128 back
  42. issue.  After printing, just circle the issue(s) you want, enclose a check,
  43. money order, or credit card, and pop it in the mail.

  49.      Here at LOADSTAR there's nothing we appreciate more than feedback.  If
  50. you tell us what you think about what we publish, there's a better chance
  51. that we'll publish what you want.
  52.  
  53.      Instead of asking you for a letter grade or a quick comment, LOADSTAR
  54. 128 CRITIQUE will prompt you with the name of each feature or article on the
  55. issue and give you a six-line window for entering your comments.  The window
  56. is a free-form entry box, so just type whatever you want and press F1 when
  57. done with that comment.  CLR, HOME, INSert, DELete, etc. all work as you'd
  58. expect them to.  Double quotes will be automatically changed to single
  59. quotes.  F1 will exit the window and take you to the next feature's prompt. 
  60. Be a little patient when you press F1 -- the routine is in BASIC and may
  61. take four or five seconds to format your response.

  63.      You can exit early by pressing the ESC key.  Then you're given the
  64. option of printing your critique for sending to LOADSTAR 128, or returning
  65. to the LOADSTAR Briefs menu.

  67.     The program will ask for your name and address first.  Please enter this
  68. so we can respond to any questions you may ask.  If you don't ask any
  69. questions we probably won't answer, but we're always interested in your
  70. opinions.  The last prompt asks for comments on anything else.  If you've
  71. mentioned a problem with any of the programs, please let us know what
  72. hardware you're using that might account for the problem.  Cartridge
  73. fastloaders, cartridge expanders, printer interfaces, etc. all can affect
  74. programs in unforeseen ways.
